Admission

The German Department offers 40 places each year for local high school students to study. Foreign high school students are also welcome to learn German at Tamkang University, but they have a different admissions process. Each year, the department provides a limited number of spots for students who wish to study at Tamkang University and experience a diverse campus culture. 

1. For local students, there are three ways to study at German department:

• Selection program in the High-School
• application by High-School students
• University Entrance examination

2. For university changers: exams are required.

• For the sophomore: Chinese and English exam
• For the junior: German grammar in middle level and German writing exam
